RESEARCH INTERESTS

 

To engage in research that intersects human interactions and musical origins with ecology and ecological disturbances, particularly relating to biodiversity and bioacoustics

 

To broaden understanding of soundscape indices and expand repertoire with intervallic relationships and other sound profile nuances

 

To generate a soundscape analysis technique that merges modern music analysis tools with ecology

 

To study remote-sensing and GIS mapping technologies and its impact on ecological disturbances in the soundscape arena
